EFG and its staff have participated in the following:
This year, EFG is once again a sponsor of the Winnipeg Harvest Empty Bowl Event being held at the Delta Hotel in November. This entertaining evening will include a dinner of fine soups and breads followed by a lively auction of bowls signed by over fifty celebrities, humanitarians and business leaders from around the world. All proceeds from ticket sales, the auction, sponsorships and donations will support Winnipeg Harvest's commitment to hungry families in Manitoba.
EFG sponsors the following young athletes:
Sarah Flett: In 2007, Sarah won a Gold medal in the beam at the Canadian Gymnastics championship and received the Monica Goermann Award for best female artistic gymnast in the province. At the 2008 Canadian Gymnastics Championships (Senior High Performance) she placed 10th all around and 7th on the beam. Also in 2008, Sarah was awarded the Manitoba Foundation for Sports Scholarship and the Princess Pan Am Athletic scholarship.
Gabrielle May: At the 2009/2009 Western Canadian Championships, Gabrielle won Silver AA and 3 gold medals in the finals. At the Nationals, she was 5th all around, 6th on vault and floor and 5th on bars and beam, and one of only two gymnasts to do all four events in the finals. She was also awarded the Monica Goermann Award for being the top HP Senior Athlete in the province.

It is our pleasure to work with a positive role model such as Jennifer. She is a definite testament to what a person can achieve by combining hard work and natural talent! You can find Jennifer working to produce the next generation of champs as Executive Director / Program Coordinator of Racquetball Manitoba.
EFG financial advisor Doreen Sigurdson has ridden in the Rona Multiple Sclerosis Bike Tour for the past 13 years as captain of the "Biking Vikings". The tour, which is called "Biking to the Viking", covers 170 km from Stonewall, MB to Gimli, MB and back, and raises funds to provide research and services for those living with MS.
Another great time was had at the 2009 Academy Road Live! Street Festival. This year we featured a free draw for a gift basket, games and prizes. Donations were collected and money was donated to Winnipeg Harvest.
EFG has made a donation to help assist underprivileged children in registering for sport programs. KidSport has helped over 4,600 children register for organized sport programs since 1993.
